Although this little video is cute and entertaining, it carries a HUGE message.
Contrary to common belief, most of these animals are the direct result of a "looser" pet owner and not because there is anything wrong with them.
Most people are afraid to adopt a homeless pet because they fear the animal has health or behavioral issues. Why else would the poor animal have been dumped? Simple NOT true.
All to often, pets are discarded because of "human" error and just plain down right stupidity. Little Fluffy no longer matches the decor, Rover piddled on the carpet after being left alone in the home, unattended, for 16 hours while the owners were off enjoying a fun filled day at the amusement park ... and the list goes on and on ... and YES, I have actually heard these excuses with my own ears.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with these animals. They are the result of a real "looser" and deserve another chance at happiness in a home where someone will love and care for them for the rest of their life.
