Stop Animal Abuse at Conklin Dairy Farms Ohio

Graphic video secretly taped by Mercy for Animals shows workers at the federally-subsidized farm holding down newborn calves and stomping on their heads. It shows one worker wiring a cow's nose to a metal bar near the ground and repeatedly beating it with another bar while it bleeds.

Please sign the following petition to stop the animal abuse at Conklin Dairy Farms:

To say that I am appalled by this would be the understatement of the century. Unbelievable that this type of cruelty and abuse is taking place in my own backyard. Plain City is only 25 miles or so from Columbus.
What's even more horrific is the fact that Conklin Dairy Farms receives federal-subsidized money to operate in this manner. Yes, that's right folks ... YOUR tax dollar is contributing to the pain and suffering of a poor, defenseless dairy cow.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE NEXT TIME YOU PICK UP A GALLON OF MILK AT THE LOCAL GROCERY STORE. Try to visualize the pain and suffering a poor cow went through just so you could have a nice cold glass of milk to dunk your Oreo cookies in.

This is the 21st century. There is simply no excuse for any human to treat any animal, farm or domestic, in such a horrific, abusive manner.
PLEASE take time to read this petition, and even if you don't watch the graphic video, SIGN and make your voice heard.
It's time our government started paying attention to where and to whom they are giving OUR money.
It's time for Conklin Dair Farms to stand accountable for their inhumane treatment of their dairy cattle.
